1. About us

La Bougie Boutique (“we”, “us”, “our”) sells hand-poured artisanal candles and related accessories through this website. You can reach us at hello@labougieboutique.in.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and able to form a legally binding contract to place an order.

3. Products & availability

Our candles are made in small batches by hand, so slight variations in colour, texture, and finish are natural and not defects. Product images are for illustration; actual items may differ subtly. All products are subject to availability and we may limit quantities or discontinue items at any time.

4. Pricing & payment

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST (shown as CGST and SGST at checkout). Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay; we do not store your full card or banking details. We make reasonable efforts to ensure prices are accurate, but if a pricing error is identified we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid.

5. Orders & acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. A confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not constitute acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, due to stock, suspected fraud, or a pricing error — and will refund any payment already made.

6. Shipping, cancellations & refunds

Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy, and cancellations, returns, and refunds by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, imagery, logos, and designs — is owned by or licensed to La Bougie Boutique and may not be copied or used without our written consent.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

Candles are open-flame products. You are responsible for following the safety instructions provided with each product. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that order. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
